Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse - SAU - Band 6

To achieve this, we have an exciting and inspiring job opportunity that has arisen for a dynamic Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join the team in the Surgical Assessment Unit, at our St Peters site. SAU is fast paced unit receiving referrals from A & E, GPs, Specialist nurses, clinics and walk-in centres.

If you have more than eighteen months post qualification experience, with a particular interest in patient assessment, along with the drive and passion to support and develop within this unit we look forward to hearing from you.

Specialist - Physiotherapy - Band 7 - Pelvic, Obs & Gynae

We are excited to be able to offer a part time Band 7 post (24.5 hours) in our expanding Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic highly specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to help provide joint leadership to our current team alongside another full time Band 7 physiotherapist.

The post holder will be expected to work alongside another full time Band 7 physiotherapist delivering high quality patient care and treat complex patient presentations and to provide motivational leadership to the rest of the team including three Band 6 physiotherapists and a physiotherapy assistant. There are a number of opportunities to help develop and enhance service delivery and improve patient pathways at an exciting period of change and expansion for the team.

Physiotherapist in Paediatric MSK - Band 7

The opportunity has arisen to recruit paediatric physiotherapist with experience in MSK to join our established paediatric physiotherapy service at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and specialised physiotherapist to help lead and develop the paediatric MSK physiotherapy outpatient service.

Key components of these posts are to support the Clinical Lead for OT & PT MSK in the effective operational management of the paediatric outpatient department on a day to day basis, work with the existing Band 7 to provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff and to manage a clinical workload.

Salary: £13,953 to £17,909 pa inc of HCAS

Consultant (Stroke)

We’re looking for dynamic, forward thinking individual to join our expanding Stroke Department. This role would be ideal for Consultants with an interest in Stroke who have a background in Neurology, Stroke, General or Acute medicine.

The successful candidate will join a consultant team led by Dr Gulli, and supported by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physios, OTs, psychologists, SLT, Dietitians and admin staff. We provide both inpatient and outpatient services to West Surrey. Our inpatient facilities include hyper acute, acute and rehabilitation beds located on our dedicated stroke ward. Those patients requiring further input are referred to our Early Supportive Discharge Team or the Bradley Unit (ASPH’s regional Neuro-rehabilitation ward). We also provide daily TIA clinics for high and low risk referrals in addition to outpatient clinics.

Diabetes Nurse Specialist Band 6

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the diabetes team as a Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Nurse, working with inpatients and outpatients on both our sites.

We currently have two positions available,

  • 30 hours per week (Permanent Position)
  • 37.5 hours per week (Fixed Term or Secondment)

We are looking for someone with a passion for diabetes and a willingness to develop their knowledge in this area to provide specialist nursing care for people with diabetes, their families and education for other health care professionals.

Salary: £29,452 - £38,377 pa Inclusive of 5% HCAS
