Over the next four years Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals will undertake an exciting £100 million transformation programme.
This will begin with a major project to change and improve car parking at St Peter's Hospital. The main outpatients visitor car park is closed and a new multi-deck car is being built. If you drive to site you will need to park in a different location to usual.

Blue Badge Holders
All our disabled spaces are located close to the main hospital entrances and signs clearly direct the way for people with a disability. There is access on both sites for wheelchair users.
At St Peter’s Hospital disabled car parking is mainly located in the A&E car park. There is easy access into the corridor behind A&E. From here you can access the main reception area and the lift to other parts of the hospital.
At Ashford, there are ramps at both the Main Entrance and the Outpatient Department entrances. Both sites have easy access to lifts.
For Blue Badge holders who may find it easier to pre-purchase parking tickets, we now offer the facility for you to purchase up to six 2 hour tickets in advance, at £3.50 each.
You can do this through our Travel Plan Office at St Peter’s Hospital or from the Cashier’s Office at Ashford Hospital.
For those with mobility issues who find it difficult to reach our clinics or wards, wheelchairs are located at the main hospital entrances. Our porters can be requested to help you on arrival, please telephone (or use the nearest help-point) when you arrive on site and confirm your location. It’s also possible to pre-book portering assistance, please call 01932 722036 (St Peter’s Hospital) or 01784 884692 (Ashford Hospital) in advance and contact us again once you arrive on site to confirm your location and time of your arrival. There is a help-point situated near the wheelchair storage area on level 1 St Peter’s main entrance, as well as others in the visitor car parks on both sites.
We recognise that for some patients visiting our hospitals regularly car parking costs can be a burden. We therefore offer the following concessions which are applicable at both of our hospital sites:
|Frequent visitors||Weekly parking permit - £20.00|
|Patients attending Haematology/Oncology Day units||Free for period of treatment|
|Patients attending long term cardiac rehabilitation clinics||Free for period of treatment|
|Parents attending our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Peter’s Hospital||Three weekly permit - £20.00|
